Regional settings
This enables you to provide different versions of a channel depending on location; for example, BBC1 London, BBC1 Scotland, BBC1 Wales etc.
Creating regional settings
To create a regional setting:
- Display the relevant Editorial channel in View mode and in the left panel select Regional Settings.
- If no regional settings already exist, click the CREATE REGIONAL SETTINGS button; if regional settings already exist, click ADD NEW.
- On the Create Regional Settings page, select the Location type and enter the Channel Name.
- Select the appropriate City, Country, DMA or Custom location; see Content targeting groups.
- Select the Source Preference and click the CREATE REGIONAL SETTINGS button.
Editing regional settings
To update the regional settings for a channel:
Display the relevant Editorial channel in View mode and in the left panel select Regional Settings.
In the relevant channel row, select Edit Regional Settings... from the menu.
Update the details as required and click the SAVE CHANGES button.
Deleting regional settings
To delete a regional setting:
Display the relevant Editorial channel in View mode and in the left panel select Regional Settings.
In the relevant channel row, select Delete... from the menu.
A pop-up window displays a confirmation message, click the DELETE button.
