Replay TV
The Replay TV features allow users to view current and previous events.
Short-Term Catch Up (STCU) holds recent events in a buffer for short-term recall (typically two to three days).
Long-Term Catch Up (LTCU) records events in memory for longer-term recall.
Start Over (SO) enables users to view a current event from the beginning.
Network PVR (nPVR) allows users to record live events remotely.
In general, Replay TV features must be configured on the relevant Technical channel and then enabled and disabled at:
Channel level in the Global settings
Event level on the event in the EPG
If Replay TV features are enabled at the channel level, individual technical channels can be enabled and disabled accordingly. However, if ReplayTV is disabled at the channel level, technical channels can be configured, but they will not be enabled.
Content catalogue
Catch-up channels must have Replay TV configured and at least one event with STCU active to be listed in the catalogue. Before any catch-up flags can be assigned, you must manually create the Live channel catch-up node; for details, see Configuring nodes. The node for each catch-up enabled editorial channel is generated automatically. The node name and id will be the same as the editorial channel name and id.
To display the events on a channel with Replay TV set, click the relevant channel.
